He has risen. Resurrection is the moment you come back onto the floor although you had signed off twenty minutes earlier. The goodbye before it was sincere, it simply doesn't hold. Three things rebuild an entire person: water, fresh air and a short pause. After that the only thing missing is the right track.
The routine is remarkably reliable. 04:41 is the end, stated out loud and meant that way. 04:52 you're standing outside with a bottle of water, talking to somebody about nothing. 04:57 the DJ does something that retroactively cancels the decision from 04:41. Sixteen minutes, with roughly a whole life in between.
The order decides everything. Water and pause come before the track, not after it. Skip both and you don't get a resurrection, you last a little longer and then leave for good. None of this is about endurance, it's about your body coming along. That difference is noticeable the following day.
AT TWINK DEATH
Resurrection isn't a metaphor here, it's a routine with a timestamp. We build the sets so the point exists and keep enough water around for somebody to actually use it. The night starts over from there. Miss it and you still had a whole night.
