A tomorrow problem is a situation your present self has passed to your future self. No consultation, no paperwork, usually around three. The handover runs silently and unopposed, because the recipient is asleep. Present you is quick and confident. Tomorrow you was never asked and learns about the transaction on waking.
The list is predictable: laundry, appointments, unanswered messages, the question of where the spare key went, and a calendar entry for ten in the morning that still looked like a good idea when you agreed to it. Things like that genuinely can wait; not one of them gets worse before lunch. That is precisely what the term exists for. The key, incidentally, usually reappears in a jacket pocket.
Two items never make the list: consent and safety. Both count during the night itself or not at all. They can't be postponed, can't be delegated and can't be caught up on the following day. That isn't an exception to the rule, it's the edge of the category. And it isn't strictness — it's the reason everything else gets to be light.

Tomorrow is somebody else's shift, and he already knows about the handover. We stay out of it, apart from the two items above. Those we don't negotiate with anybody. What counts tonight counts tonight.
